Introducing SAM Animation Version 1.2

After extensive classroom and beta testing, we are officially releasing the first full version of SAM Animation through Pitsco (www.pitsco.com). The software includes full frame capturing and editing functionality, audio narration and importing of audio tracks, re-designed time-lapse section with delayed capture, and a "smart" share function that allows the user to post movies to the website, to private classroom galleries, or to the users desktop to be shared with others. Pitsco is selling individual licenses and site licenses, which allow schools to use SAM on all computers in the building.

SAM Animation Version 1.2 (shown above) has many resolved compatibility issues for both Macs and PCs. The software is more robust and faster than previous versions.

The real benefit comes in the SAM Animation Teacher Guide - where a collection of getting started activities, which highlight the powerful ways of using SAM, are included alongside example animations and teacher testimonials. The Teacher Guide helps educators unleash the power of animation in their classroom using SAM Animation.

In addition to the software and Teacher Guide, Pitsco will also be distributing driver-less USB webcams, specially designed camera stands for effective classroom animation, classroom packs which include white boards and markers, and walking person figures for making a quick, simple animation.
